Leading Wide Bay Artist Kelly Hazzard has generously donated her stunning award-winning painting to Moore Park Beach Arts Inc. The funds raised from this raffle will help us to run our future events that promote art in our region and bring the community together for fun, friendship and fellowship. The painting is 81.3 cms square in size and depicts two gorgeous sulphur crested cockatoos - beautiful, distinctive and iconic birds that are close to Kelly's heart. This 81.3 cm square acrylic on canvas painting depicts a pair of sulphur crested cockatoos - breast to breast and crests touching while turned away from each other. The dark solid background is a perfect backdrop for the beautiful white plumage of the pair. Kelly's love of all things natural transforms her paintings into images that speak to the heart of those who look into them. This painting was a very deserving winner of the Friends of Moore Park Beach Arts Inc category at the 2023 Moore Park Beach Art Awards. The Raffle commences on the 19th of October 2023, closes on the 16th of December 2023 and will be drawn on the 16th of December 2023 at Moore Park Beach Community Centre, 1 Club Avenue, Moore Park Beach at 8pm. The draw will be conducted using a RaffleLink System draw process. Ticket buyers do not have to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted by email within 2 days after draw.
