We hold markets annually in the rural Queensland town of Dalby in order to raise essential funds for our school. The proceeds go directly back into the school and assist with things like mandatory maintenance on buildings and enhancing existing programs and facilities for the students and families in the Dalby region. We regard this as a major event on the school's fundraising calendar.
Dalby State School is passionate about community involvement and promoting the health and wellbeing of our students. Our school has a great involvement within the community and can be seen supporting a vast variety of local events including all memorial marches, festivals, eisteddfods and sporting events. We support our students to thrive in all aspects of their schooling, with emphasis on STEM, creative and sporting endeavours. Dalby State School has initiated a rugby league excellence program as well as dance and music excellence programs within the school which are held in particularly high regard.
Proceeds of this year's event will be used towards a new tuckshop building with more seated eating areas for the children and continuing to help bring the cost of education fees down for our families. We strongly believe primary school student engagement is a critical step for a successful education. With a lower socio- economic cohort in Dalby, we aim to subsidise the levies and costs associated with extra-curricular activities to ensure all children have equitable access to the very best of education.

The raffle commences on the 18th of August 2024, closes on the 15th of October 2024 and will be drawn on the 17th of October 2024 at 155 Cunningham St, Dalby QLD 4405, Australia at 14:00. The draw will be conducted using a manual draw process. Ticket buyers do not have to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted by email within 2 days after draw. Winners may also receive a phone call from the raffle organisers.
