Port Stephens Community Woodworkers Inc Fundraising Raffle | RaffleLink


Port Stephens Community Woodworkers is a charity that supports the local community. Members make up woodwork kits such as bird feeders, bbq caddies, tool boxes, bee hotels etc. Members then visit primary schools, aged care homes, disability centres, and disadvantaged schools where they help participants assemble the kits as extra curricular activities.

As a charity the club provides relief from social isolation for older men and women of the community who then give back through these and other community activities.

Fund are used to further this work, to help other not for profit organisations and to buy and maintain woodworking equipment and supplies.

The club is located within the Port Stephens Community Arts Centre complex.

Tickets are priced at $2 each, 2 tickets for $4, 4 tickets for $8, 5 tickets for $10, 10 tickets for $20, 25 tickets for $50, 50 tickets for $100



1st Prize valued at $5,000

Hand Carved Australian Wildlife Chess Set

Includes table with carved side panels of Australian animals, two drawers for storage of chess pieces, each drawer with a carved front and a removable chess board top.

The light chess pieces are made of jacaranda and the dark pieces are made of rosewood. Other woods used are red cedar and bunya pine for the board squares and silky oak and Tasmanian oak for the box frame and legs..

2nd Prize valued at $100

Platter made from meranti wood. Cross pieces are resin with inset gum nuts.

Diameter is490mm

3rd Prize valued at $80

End grain chopping board with frame which has finger hold inserts on all sides.

Size is 340mm x 250mm x 55mm.

4th Prize valued at $40

Three bowls of diameters 190mm, 165mm and 100mm.

Terms & Conditions

This raffle is being held for Port Stephens Community Woodworkers Inc Cultural Close, Nelson Bay, NSW, 2315.

The Raffle commences on the 15th of September 2021, closes on the 23rd of January 2022 and will be drawn on the 26th of January 2022 at Fly Point, Nelson Bay at Australia Day Celebrations at 4.00pm. The draw will be conducted using a manual draw process. Ticket buyers do not have to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email within 2 days after draw. Persons under the age of 18 years are unable to enter.
