A Mid-Week Two-night Stay at Kyneton Old Rectory
A beautiful place to unwind and enjoy!
Value $2,000
Proudly donated by Will Jones
Built in 1850 of local stone with a mix of late Georgian and Victorian colonial architectural features, the Old Rectory is listed by the National Trust of Victoria. It has recently undergone a comprehensive but sympathetic renovation and now offers understated yet luxurious accommodation.
The Old Rectory is set in almost half an acre of stunning garden, with a large 160-year-old walnut tree a significant feature. The garden also features several "rooms", separated by Pittosporum, Cypress, English Box and Myrtus hedging, including a sunken garden, parterre garden, secret garden and fernery.
The Old Rectory is in the centre of the heritage town of Kyneton, with a selection of restaurants, galleries and quality shops all within walking distance. Kyneton is just over one hour from Melbourne International Airport and the city, with excellent rail and road access.
